AFS Launches AFSUniversity and the Insurance Reporting 101 Module

COEUR D’ALENE, ID, June 22, 2005
Advanced Field Services (AFS) is pleased to announce the release of AFSUniversity (AFSU), a comprehensive internet based portal designed to provide focused online industry training and structured educational development to AFS Field Representatives, Staff and Clientele.

With the release of AFSU comes the unveiling of Field Insurance Reporting 101, the first of many online educational modules to be released this year by the AFS Training and Development Department. The scope of content for Field Insurance Reporting 101 is designed as an introduction or “primer” to the Insurance Reporting industry, and provides the individual with the basic knowledge, principles and expectations required for completion of exterior property observations as set forth by today’s standards. This module includes nine interactive chapters and assessments, and focuses on Interviews, Observations, Hazards, Exposures, Protection and an Introduction to Measurements and Diagrams. Upon achievement of a passing final grade, a certificate of completion is issued, and marks the first step on the individual’s road to becoming a designated AFS Field Reporter.

All present and future AFS employees are required to complete this module to ensure that our entire staff possesses the highest level of knowledge available in the industry today. Completion also ensures that the AFS staff is well suited to represent our Clients with an unprecedented level of competency while interacting both on the telephone and in the field on their behalf.

AFSU also offers an extensive library of resource materials including training videos, documents, photo glossaries and internet links. Additional educational modules presently in development and slated for upcoming release are Field Insurance Reporting 201 and Field Insurance Reporting 301. These intermediate and advanced courses will focus on the detailed completion of dwelling diagrams, interior inspections and high-value observation reporting.

Volume licensing programs are available to our current Clients who seek to provide initial training or continuing education to their designated teams of Underwriters and Agents. You can visit the AFSUniversity website at www.afsuniversity.com.
